Dear Mobi Calculator users,
A long time ago, Mobi Calculator became one of the first calculators on Android to offer expression editing, a functional calculation history, and other features that were truly innovative at the time.
Today, it’s clear that many modern calculators (including default apps from major device manufacturers) now offer similar functionality in one form or another.
At the same time, we have to admit that Mobi Calculator has become quite outdated in terms of its interface and certain other aspects.
For many years, we’ve been developing and dreaming of adding a wide range of new features — most of which still haven’t been implemented in any other calculator apps.
We’ve set two key goals for ourselves:
- To preserve all the features that made you love our calculator. We’ve done everything we could to make sure each redesigned function is an improvement — without losing the original idea behind it. Please note — this is goal number one!
- Mobi Calculator must once again offer innovative features that no other calculator has.
We want to emphasize again how important it is to us that the new functionality doesn’t get in the way of your familiar experience! All new features either integrate seamlessly with the existing workflow or can be disabled in the settings — so you can return to the experience you’re used to.
Over the years, various things have pulled us away from development, but right now, the first release of Mobi Calculator 2 is about 90% complete.
Unfortunately, the exact release date depends on many factors (regular jobs, responsibilities, and the occasional bit of rest), but we hope it will be ready in the coming months.
Even the very first release will include nearly all of the original version’s functionality (with many improvements), plus some completely new features.
Our return to developing Mobi Calculator 2 was made possible thanks to you! Even after years without updates, and with many users switching to iOS, there are still so many of you. Your support — ratings, comments, emails, PRO purchases, and donations — made this possible.
